The Many Allys of Allywhitecat and Haunted House Design Teams challenge and March Blog Hop with Smeared Ink

Welcome...and the March winds in West Texas are blowing...tumbleweeds the size of little Volkswagen and the dirt to go with it.Forget the make up today! haha..
I wanted to share two things with you.
one...
my entry to http://haunteddesignhouse.blogspot.com/
I have chosen a beautiful image from Ike's store called "Bite Me" I have a confession..I practise drawing ..because I want to be like Ike when I grow up hahaha I want my journals to rock the house down with awesome faces..well sadly I am not there yet.
I chose blue hair and white eyes. Yes I love that feel. Look at the hair..can you imagine drawing that hair? wow! I colored with prisma pencils and watercolors. here she is
The second thing I want to show you is my bottle using http://smearedandsmudged.ning.com/group/smeared-ink-rubber-club
My goodness the stamps are so beautiful "Nymphs"
My bottle was done differently than I have ever done it before. I put gesso on the bottle let it dry and then used Dylusion spray inks then I waited a day and used Mod Podge over it adding my image.
I am out of wire because I wanted my son to wire wrap some beautiful beads I have that will go so beautifully with this project..and a 80 mile trip was not in our plans lately but I will get that finished soon.
Internet is dragging tonight and I am having extreme trouble making this post so please forgive if I cannot get the blog roll up I will keep trying if I do it will be on the side bar.
Take care
hugs

  1. I love the colors. Very vibrant. They really bring out the stamp. I agree that 80 miles is a bit of a stretch for adornments. Good choice.
