A MANLY CARD

Hi and welcome to my blog. I am Susan S. and I am sharing another piece with you I am making for my stores and a challenge with http://anythingchallenge.blogspot.com/
the theme is make it manly.so here are my steps
1. I stained with Distress stain peeled paint.three times.
2. I rubbed on Distress antique linen
3. I added a heavy rub on of Distress Salty Ocean
4.This is what it looks like at this point
5. i sprayed on Dylusions Lemon Zest

6. I sprayed on Ranger Perfect Pearls mist
7. i "ghosted" in distress picket fence
8. I dabbed colorbox razzberry in various places

9. I covered the card stamped with "post card" from tim holtz collection with staz on jet black
this is what it looked like at this point
10. I used staz on jet black and Tim Holtz pine trees and covered the card at this point
11. This is what it looked like at this point
12 I used my brick stencil from studio 490 Wendy Vecchi and Ranger white dabber
12 I am cutting Tim Holtz die cuts "gears"in half
 I have picked a dark red acrylic this time..I want the Colorado look for the people from there you would know what I mean..I grew up in that area a lot of bold red there...

13.Here are the gears now for the man
yes I picked my stamp from Stampers Anonymous a gift from stampers.
14 the sentiment "dream a little dream"
15.  add the ideologies when you make Tim Holtz! I did not have a lot to use uumm must improvise
There it is finished some cutting of my awesome steampunk paper from michaels a backing and I am finished.
