It is cold and windy here today and the mail lady brought a package that turned the winter frowns in to a huge grin today...

everything wendy challenge no. 3

Well my studio 490 brick stencil came in and I had to play with it.I used blossom bucket glasses too..love the blossom bucket.challenge no three with http://groups.yahoo.com/group/EverythingWendyVecchi/
The theme is a four letter word..mine was seek.I used the stars from celestial stamp set and a off brand stamp my friend carolyn gave me..the stain is from Tim holtz peacock and picket fence. I also mixed my new purple staz on ink in there...well what do you think?

All Things Tim Card of the month swap

Welcome to my blog. This is a swap with the group http://groups.yahoo.com/group/AllThingsTim/
The theme is gears of Time. My partner is Kavi and I hope she likes my card.
I have two layers to the front of the card. the bottom is papered and the edges inked in distress walnut stain I used the love wish dream stamp and just stamped DREAM across the edges like a border.
I began the top part with light blue acrylic turquoise,white and gesso.
I followed the edges with walnut distress and fired brick red.
all the stamps are Tim Holtz from Stampers Anonymous,
The gears are Tim Holtz die cuts inked in staz on jet black and coated in Glossy accents.
on the right edge bottom page i layered in paper...the gears were cut in half and done the same as the top cover.
The paper is Graphic 45. I collaged onto the acrylic areas above the die cuts.
The small gears were my prize in All things Tim group from Deb and little spinners were added on the corners.
Hope she like it!
